The first match of the day kicks off at 3:00 PM and will feature Kampala University, a two-time champion, taking on the reigning champions, Uganda Martyrs University (UMU). This high-profile clash is expected to deliver a fierce battle as both teams are known for their top-tier performances in previous seasons. UMU will face Nkozi University in a highly anticipated game that is sure to excite fans.
At 5:00 PM, Kyambogo University, the 2018 champions, will go head-to-head with ISBAT University in another riveting contest. Both teams are eager to assert their dominance, making this match one to watch.
For the 2025 season, the league introduces a new format in which teams will only meet once in the group stages. Whether home or away, this added element of unpredictability will make every game crucial. The top teams from each group will automatically progress to the quarterfinals, alongside the three best runners-up.
