The Officer in Charge (O.C) of Kitalya Prison has been faulted for allegedly attempting to cover up for his Deputy, who is accused of preying on prisoners’ wives and mothers.
Two days ago we broke a story in which we revealed evidence of the deputy O.C of Kitalya, a one Okello, seducing in one instance a prisoner’s wife and in another, another prisoner’s mother.
We also exposed a chat history which shows the same officer involved in extorting money in return for facilitating a prisoner’s wife’s visit.
Now evidence has been brought to our attention, that the O.C himself and his deputy are involved in a frantic cover up operation.
Sources of the affected families reveal that the O.C has telephoned all the victims and implicitly warned them of the dire repercussions on their relatives who are still in prison should they continue to speak up about the abuse.
It should be remembered that the husband of the woman who was being unduly seduced and another victim, Malaika, whose mother was harassed for sex are still in Jail.
In the voice notes we have listened to, the O.C is heard calling under Pseudo names in one instance, but forgetting to hide his phone caller identity, and in another instance calling under the pretext of investigating the matter, although he left no doubt in each of the victim’s mind what his intentions were.
The victims are now worried about the repercussions of their speaking out on their abuse of their relatives and have resorted to feigning ignorance of the matter whenever they are called.
One of the women whose relative works for State House has since reached out to the president for help and protection of her husband who is in jail. It is not yet clear whether there has been any response from State House.
Meanwhile, our sources tell us that back in Kitalya, a cover up operation and a witch-hunt of fellow officers suspected of sympathizing and collaborating with the victims is also underway.
The Deputy O.C Okello, a professional computer expert, has allegedly been scouring all computers in the administration of Kitalya Prison in search of the suspected collaborators.
Ever since we broke the scandal in the media, the shameless pervert has turned into a wounded, vindictive and brutal dictator at Kitalya and all his colleagues are now on the receiving end of his terror.
