Multiple reports indicate that EGYPXN, a rapper from Richmond, Virginia, allegedly shot his mother, sister, and younger brother, causing them severe injuries that required hospitalization, following a home invasion.
This incident occurred on the same day that the rapper was planning to release his latest music video, “Be Free.” Subsequently, EGYPXN was identified as a suspect, and a search was launched to locate him.
During a later confrontation with police, a shootout ensued, and EGYPXN was killed by police gunfire. The shooting resulted in one police officer being injured. The reason for the shooting remains unclear.
However, despite the tragic incident, the rapper’s most recent music video was still released and has received over 16K views since the beginning of the month.
