Following Hon Kadaga’s absentia as other minsters took oath at Kololo Independence grounds on Monday, Official information has it that the Honourable arrived at the premises but was unable to access it since she could not avail her Covid-19 test results.
The former speaker will however, take oath in the presence of the president of Uganda and Nakasero State House Thursday .
“President will on Thursday, 24th, June 2021 at noon preside over swearing-in ceremony of Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga Alitwala as the 1st Deputy Prime minister and minister of East African Affairs at Nakasero State Lodge”, said Linda Nabusayi, the Presidential Press secretary.
