Kampala, Uganda – Standing tall as a modern Sports & Entertainment Centre, Nakivubo Stadium is an architectural marvel, built for the benefit of Ugandans. This remarkable achievement is the brainchild of Hamis Kiggundu “Ham”, a young native investor who singlehandedly financed the project and made a momentous decision to employ only Ugandans, bolstering the local workforce and economy. The Patriots proudly recognize Nakivubo Stadium as a landmark addition to the infrastructural landscape of Kampala City, and it stands as one of the largest projects ever built and financed by a young investor in Uganda. With a seating capacity of 35,000 and boasting state-of-the-art features, including ample parking space, modern safety measures, and clear access roads, the stadium awaits its grand opening for sports and entertainment events.

To the sports fraternity and all Ugandans, a momentous announcement was when Nakivubo Stadium was given the green light to host the highly anticipated AFCON tournament. This approval by officials of the world football governing body was a testament to Uganda’s commitment to developing top-notch sports facilities and hosting prestigious international events. The nation still celebrates this extraordinary accomplishment, recognizing it as a shining example of what can be achieved through local initiative and dedication.

As Nakivubo Stadium nears completion, anticipation swells among Ugandans, eager to witness the grandeur of this fully modernized venue. With AFCON set to take place within its walls, the stadium stands ready to welcome football enthusiasts from around the world. The significance of this event cannot be overstated, as Uganda marks its place in the global sports arena.

As the countdown to AFCON begins, Ugandans are filled with hope and excitement, knowing that this tournament will be etched in their memories for generations to come. Nakivubo Stadium will witness moments of sporting brilliance, cementing Uganda’s position as a force to be reckoned with in football.

The impact of Nakivubo Stadium goes beyond sports, symbolizing the country’s progress and growth. This achievement stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration for the youth of Uganda, encouraging them to dream big and invest in the future of their nation.

As the stadium prepares to open its gates to the world, Uganda unites with fervor, grateful for this opportunity to showcase its talents, culture, and hospitality. With AFCON in Nakivubo Stadium, the nation embarks on a journey that will forever be etched in the annals of its history. God bless Ugandans, and may Nakivubo Stadium shine as a testament to the nation’s spirit and potential.
