Kyambogo University is currently going through a trying moment following the death of Mr. Ssenyonga JB, a lecturer of Art who succumbed to the deadly COVID-19.

Kyambogo students on Friday woke up to sad news about the death of their lecturer who has been on oxygen for the past two weeks. More information reaching our news desk indicates that Ssenyonga breathed his last on Thursday 24th June after his weak lungs failed to take in more oxygen.

Ssenyonga’s burial programme has not been released yet but since he succumbed to COVID-19, his district task force will takeover the burial with help from health experts.

Kyambogo University joins other universities like Makerere, MUBS and UCU whose lecturers succumbed to this dangerous virus.
