Zoho Corporation has achieved an annual revenue of $1 billion in 2022, making it the first bootstrapped company in India to achieve this feat. Zoho Corporation’s enterprise IT management division, ManageEngine, is responsible for almost 60 percent of the company’s revenue, while Zoho.com, which provides applications for day-to-day business operations, contributes 40 percent of revenue. Arun Kumar, Regional Director of ManageEngine, reported that the revenues of ManageEngine crossed $500 million in 2021 and the division is expected to reach $1 billion in revenue within the next three years.
ManageEngine has a customer base of approximately 280,000 clients worldwide, including 10,000 in India, spread across 190 countries. The majority of its customers, about 80 percent, are in the mid-market segment, which consists of companies with up to 500 employees, while the remaining 20 percent are in the enterprise segment, which includes companies with more than 1,000 employees. Many large organizations, such as IT and ITeS vendors and banks, with around 200,000 end computing devices, use ManageEngine’s products. Additionally, there are also customers who use ManageEngine’s products on a smaller scale with just 100 or 200 devices.
A list of ManageEngine’s customers can be found on the company’s website, including notable names such as HCL, Amazon, Saint-Gobain, and Reliance Industries. According to the Regional Director, nine out of every ten Fortune 100 companies use ManageEngine’s real-time IT management tools to ensure optimal performance of their IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, applications, and endpoints. ManageEngine’s growth rate is about 25 percent annually, which is expected to continue in the future.
