Equity Trade Mission Kampala 2025 Attracts Global Investment Interest
KAMPALA – Uganda is hosting a high-level Equity Investor Trade Mission at Four Points by Sheraton Kampala, drawing more than 40 international delegates from diverse industries including manufacturing, agribusiness, mining, tourism, and oil.
The event, which officially began today, kicked off with field visits to various businesses and industrial sites within and around Kampala, offering delegates a firsthand look at Uganda’s investment environment and industrial potential.
Organized as a platform to strengthen bilateral trade ties, the mission serves as a key opportunity for investors to assess Uganda’s economic landscape, connect with local businesses, and identify potential areas of collaboration.
Tomorrow’s agenda will feature a conference, dialogue sessions, and business-to-business (B2B) meetings, aiming to spark new partnerships and drive economic cooperation.
The trade mission builds on growing international interest in Uganda’s market, particularly from Indian investors and firms looking to expand across Africa. With Uganda pushing for greater private sector involvement and regional trade integration, missions like these underscore the country’s strategic focus on economic diplomacy and industrialization.
